Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the availability and need of food from meat and fish raw material in year of 2007. This research as well is intended to evaluate positive impact of livestock and fish trade activities toward trader, citizen, and local government. The research covered 5 regions of Jakarta. Research instrument is questionnaire. Questionnaire was distributed to 120 respondents. Data collected was analyzed using as descriptive method. The research shows that everyday, DKI Jakarta was supplied with egg, chicken, meat, and gold fish respectively 421.090 kg, 318.293 kg, 224.508 kg, and 30.054 kg. Buffer stock was 11 % up to 16% for meat and gold fish and chicken was 43,25% . The best relative economic impact was for gold fish.
