Abstract

Theimprovement of Microand Small Enterprise(MSE) depends on how an excellent performance is conducted. Excellentperformance could be managedeffectivelyand efficiently if it is supported byanoptimalperformancemeasurementprocess, basedonits appropriatekeyperformance indicator. IdentificationofkeyperformanceindicatoronMSEis developed basedonexpertanditsstakeholderselicitationjudgment thatisconductedbydepth interview technique to describethe influence ofexternalandinternal environmenttotheMSE performance. SWOT analysis is usedto explorestrategy that canexploit MSE'sinternal strengths to overcome its external threats, and exploit its opportunitiesto minimizeits weaknesses. StructuralEquationModeling(SEM) is usedto confirm the keyperformance indicator that is essential in MSE'sperformancemeasurementprocess. Ontheperformance measurementmodel, keyperformance indicator aredetermined basedon its externaland internal environment.Verificationon120MSEbananachipsinLampungProvinceshows7of keyperformance indicator that couldinfluence theMSEperformance, andwillbeusedinthe MSE'sperformancemeasures
