When someone decided to work, they must have motivation. Motivation on an employ must be different from one to another which drove them to do their best. On the other hand, job stress can occur in anytime and it caused by manythings like job demand, workload, work environment such as noise, illumination, heat and others. Its interesting for me to see there is a lot of negative impact caused by noises. The aim of this study is to know the contribution of noise perception and work motivation on employee work stress. Method being used on this study is quantitative research. This research are held on PT. lndomobil Suzuki Plant Cakung, Jakarta. Subjects are 60 employee that worked in the area with noise level more than 80db. The result is there is significant contribution from noise perception and work motivation to employee work stress. Noise perception gives a contribution to employee work stress (R2) 0,239 (23%), work motivation is also has contribution to work stress although its only a little amount, the contribution is (R2) 0,089 (9%). Noice perception and work motivation together has contribution to employee work stress,(R2) 0,231 (23%).
