Abstract: Insurance is one of a growing financial services products in Indonesia in line with the growth of national economy. Current insurance function not only as a medium panjamin health and safety, more than that, growing insurance as an investment medium. Easy access to information necessary to support the optimization of the various functions of insurance products. Current information technology can play a major role in supporting the exchange of information between insurance companies with clients or other institutions. The increasing diversity of information from various sources around the world causing little relevance level data presented in accordance with the desired context. The method applied in the semantic web may help in overcoming such diversity. This study focused on the development of semantic web models in an effort to optimize the functionality of existing insurance products in Indonesia.</description>

Abstract: Purchasing decisions for technology products such as mobile phones and computers are&#xD;
very interesting to be observed. This paper aims to determine whether age, occupation&#xD;
(activities), economic (purchasing power), lifestyle, and personality and self-concept affects&#xD;
simultaneously (together) and partial (individual) to the Esia mobile phone purchasing&#xD;
decisions in Gunadarma University. Variables used in this study are age, occupation&#xD;
(activities), economic (purchasing power), lifestyle, and personality and self-concept. The&#xD;
object of this study is the Esia mobile phone users in the Gunadarma University. &#xD;
The results by multiple linear regression, found that the variables age, occupation&#xD;
(activities), economic conditions (purchasing power), lifestyle and personality and selfconcept&#xD;
&#xD;
simultaneously and partially effect on the Esia cell phone purchasing decisions in&#xD;
Gunadarma University. The most dominant variables affecting to the decision to purchase&#xD;
Esia cell phone in the Gunadarma University is activity. The coefficient of determination of&#xD;
the test was concluded that 74.5% of the purchase decision is explained by the independent&#xD;
variables, namely age, occupation (activities), economic (purchasing power), lifestyle and&#xD;
personality and self-concept, whereas 25,5% is explained by other variables.</description>

Abstract: The aims of this research are to analyze the influence of implementation of BIRTGS&#xD;
and implementation of Arsitektur Perbankan Indonesia (API) to economic&#xD;
growth and examine the percentage of contribution of assets, loans and third party&#xD;
fund to economic growth. This research is a case study in Indonesia using&#xD;
secondary data from the year 1988 until 2008 obtain from various published&#xD;
reports from Bank Indonesia and Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). VAR, a timeseries&#xD;
econometric model used in this study, estimating three banking indicators&#xD;
that are assets, loans and third party fund, economic growth average per capita at&#xD;
constant price 2000. Based on the two-stage data processing, the research reveals&#xD;
empirical evidence that technology affects the banking development and economic&#xD;
growth. This study support the research conducted by Levine (1997) that economic&#xD;
activity and technological innovation undoubtedly affect the structure and quality&#xD;
of financial system.</description>
