Abstract: Breeding of broiler chicken and determination of feed (ransum) is required based on amount of chicken prepared for seeding to harvest the chicken. The limitations of resources in meeting the needs of ransum to be very important to be optimized to increase revenue. By using linear programming methods in the utilization of livestock ransum. Breeders tried to minimize the cost incurred for the purchase of ration CP 510 with ransum own making without reduce the nutrients needed for growth of boiler chickens. The study was conducted on raw material requirement starter ransum in the stable phase of boiler chickens Komar. Based on the data processing performed by software WinQSB for the calculation of linear programming with variable raw material in the form of yellow maize, rice bran, soybean meal, coconut cake, meat and bone meal, wheat bran, peanut meal, and flour katuk leaves. Based on proximate analysis as a reference preparation of ransum (dry matter, crude protein, ash, crude fiber, fat, BETN, calcium, phosphorus, and energy metabolism) obtained a minimum fee of Rp. 2.763.000,- by not including soybean meal, coconut cake, wheat bran, and wheat leaf katuk. While the composition of the feed ransum CP 510, feed ingredient costs incurred amounting to Rp. 4.290.000, -. Thus occurred the feed material cost savings of Rp. 1,527,000, -
