Abstract

This study was carried out to someone who is conducting a business or entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine the effect of human capital and social capital are moderated motivation towards entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is one of important factor to handle labor problems in north bekasi region.. Purposive sampling is a technique that is used in this study to determine the sample of respondents. According to Sugiyono (2010) purposive sampling is a technique of determining sample with a certain consideration. Specified number of samples of 500 respondents using a purposive sampling method. As independent variables, namely human capital and social capital, and the intervening variable is the motivation to work, while the dependent variable is entrepreneurial. The analysis used include validity test, reliability test, the assumptions of classical test, structural equation modeling (SEM) and hypothesis testing. to test the 5 (five) hypotheses that have been developed, which has been hypothesized relationship is a causal relationship. The results showed there were significant relationship between the variables of human capital and social capital of work motivation as well as human capital and social capital on entrepreneurship and thus serves as a motivation to work variable intervening variable, so that the results of the hypothesis showed that 5 (five) hypothesis proposed acceptable. Where results of research produced the conclusion that motivation is a highly variable effect on entrepreneurship with a value of regression weight of 0.120.
