ENRICH THE ONTOLOGY INSTANCES WITH THE SOURCE OF THE INTERNET

Abstract

Information technology has become an important component in many fields,including the tourism industry. Problems of e-tourism in Indonesia is marketing of tourism place is not optimal because the information provided on the website noninteractive tourism with tourists that requires complete information. To overcome this, today, have developed a method for information exchange, known as the Semantic Web that utilizes ontology. Ontology is a theory about the meaning of an object, the properties of the an object, as well as the relation of an object that may occur at a domain knowledge. The process of enriching the ontology instances conducted to complement and enhance existing ontologies. The process is done by adding a datatype property and instances (individuals) in the ontology.
