Prosody Model Analysis of Bahasa Indonesia Speech Synthesizer Using Speech Filing System

Abstract

Speech synthesis or text to speech is a speech processing technology and can change text to speech form. Recently high quality of speech synthesizer is available, such as: English, France, Dutch, Germany and any other language. In Bahasa Indonesia there is one application known as IndoTTS. Prosody is a base alteration frequency or pitch in a certain period that shown intonation from the trigger of voice. The rised voice by IndoTTS have to be completed on variation of the prosody that have been produced, especially to raise a sentence in imperative and interrogative form. To know the prosody pattern from a sentence will use speech filing system (SFS) software wich will know the prosody pattern based on the text variation from the sentence as the input. On this research will used a sentence in interrogative form wich consist of 2 to 6 syllable in Bahasa Indonesia. Based on the analisys model of prosody that inform the alteration of base frequency can be used for prosody model of TTS Indo.
