Title: Does Economic Theory CorruptManagement Students?
Authors: Macdonald, Roderick

Issue Date: 27-Apr-2010
Publisher: Gunadarma Press
Abstract: Some authors have argued that by teaching with ideas borrowed from economics, business schools corrupt management students. This contention corrodes the theoretical foundations of business scholarship and calls almost all economic theory into question. However economic theory is neither truly normative nor even descriptive with respect to human beings and the contentions are spurious. The practical solution is to teach even more economics.
