Pengembangan Aplikasi Perpustakaan Sekolah Studi Kasus: SMP/SMU Charitas Jakarta

Abstract

One of the implementations of information technology in secondary level education is the use of an online school library system that can assist librarians and students alike. This paper describes the development of an online library system at SMP/SMU Charitas, South Jakarta. The system is accessible through two interfaces: local and online. The local interface will be used by the librarians and staff at the school library to manage all library activities. It is developed using .NET Framework 2.0. The online interface is a web interface for students that can be accessed from home at any time, enabling them to manage their library account and reserve/request a book beforehand. This web interface is developed using ASP.NET 2.0 and utilizes SQL Server 2000.
