| Abstract: | The paper discusses about happiness and women’s career success in Indonesia. Happiness – or what researchers refer to as “subjective well – being define as the degree to which an individual judges the overall quality of his life-as-a-whole favorably. Happiness comprise of satisfaction with life events satisfaction with external but relevant factors likework, family, friends, and presence of feelings of joy along with absence of negative affects (Diener, 1984: Diener, Suh, Lucas, and Smith, 1999). It is elaborates the theories of happiness description of women’s career success of and discussess factor that lead to subjective well – being of women. The paper use buttom-up and top down theory tio understanding women’s happiness. Result shows that personality variable related to women’s career success. Then the result are discucced in relation to the theory of bottom up and top down theory |
