Abstract: Very large potential of MSMEs in Indonesia, but this situation is less well managed. Obstacle that have not resolved became barriers to business development. Depok city with a lot of MSMEs can not be seen it s characteristics, distribution patterns and the potential. For that this research aims to identify patterns of distribution, potency, characteristics and obstacle that occur. Dissemination of data collection techniques using a questionnaire based on secondary data database. The number of respondents who are willing to fill are 40 people which means there are 40 MSMEs. Characteristics and obstacles of MSMEs appear from descriptive analysis. Distribution pattern and potential from MSMEs could be seen from GPS mapping results that are later inputted with all the data obtained into the Arc View GIS 3.3. MSMEs distribution pattern throughout the Sub District of Beji. Potentials could still be developed. Characteristics of MSMEs is largely a small business with the most is restaurant. MSMEs obstacles such as; difficult to obtain capital relief, labor is less discipline, less marketing, business management of the less controlled.
