SHARE PRICE MOVEMENT ANALYSIS IN MINING SECTOR RECORDED IN LQ45 INDEX THE CAN SLIM METHOD IN IDX

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the CAN SLIM method in assessing the company's stock price movements of the mining sector, to help pick good stocks for investors to invest to gain maximum benefit. Samples used in this study were five companies from the mining sector recorded in LQ45 period from February to July 2010. In this study using the CAN SLIM method. The results of this study show that of the five companies experienced a large increase in the position of sales and profits as a result of new products or new industry conditions and a combination of fundamental analysis and technical analysis that aims to find winning stocks.
