Abstract: Individual differences play an important role in learning. One of the prominent theories of individual differences is Multiple Intelligences. The theory serves as one of the most effective curricular and instructional frameworks for classroom teachers to use in designing their lesson plans. This theory provides one approach that at least attempts to address the multiple ways of learning and understanding that our students bring with them to the mathematics classroom. An interactive multimedia courseware has been developed using the theory of Multiple Intelligences. This courseware can identify students’ intelligence and provide a learning material tailored to their need. This paper presents the preliminary result of an experiment investigating the learning performance and user perceptions using interactive multimedia courseware based on the theory of multiple intelligences. The result suggests that student performance on the subject can improve by presenting the students with learning resources that suits their intelligences.
