Analysis Of Size And Of Good Corporate Governance Influence In Stock Prices (CGPI Study In The Period 2006-2009)

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the size of the company and good corporate goveernance (GCG) or no effect on the price of the shares owned by the companies included in the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) from 2006-2009. The author uses secondary quantitative data obtained from various sources, the financial statements are consistent 11 companies included in the CGPI are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and of many articles are summarized according to the needs of this research. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Writing this using SPSS version 17 in processing the data and analyze the results. Having done the research and data processing can then be concluded that large companies with total assets greater, effect on the company's stock price, corporate governance (GCG) has no effect on stock prices.
